Entrepreneurship YRNF

Om Mahila Bachat Gat from Matheran is famous for making chappals. IsFon added value to their business by adding current trends like pompoms for their Kolhapuri chappals. Special laces, idea of creating platform heels and the method for calculating costing was given by IsFon. All these factors helped Om Mahila Bachat Gat to increase their sales and income.

Mr. Dinkar is physically challenged and used to sell hand pound masalas with the help of women under Maheshwari Mahila Bachat Gat. IsFon with the help of its core group members provided specific ratios, quality of spices to be used and information on packaging. All this helped in increasing his sales to over Rs. 65,000/- at the YRNF exhibition alone. Marketing linkage for supply of masalas to individual households will be done by the GAT.
