  • Yellow Ribbon NGO & Artisan’s Fair (YRNF)
  • Entrepreneurship Development

Income Generation Program

Handcrafted for a cause

Under the IGP, skilled women are selected, and further trained to enhance their tailoring and cutting abilities, empowering them to create exquisite handmade cloth products such as envelopes, bags, thali covers, placemats, saree covers, jewellery pouches, and more, which serve as excellent gifting options.

With a total income of ₹2,82,711/- and products worth ₹8,24,216/- sold, the programme has positively impacted 8 groups of women, enabling them to generate significant additional income.

Several bulk orders for special occasions and gifting were received through these exhibitions. Participation at these exhibitions also help to generate awareness of our women empowerment initiative (ISFON IGP).

Muskaan – more reasons to smile

Muskaan is a unique initiative designed on the principles of 'Reuse, Recycle & Revenue Generation', aimed at empowering financially challenged women, who we affectionately call 'Muskaan Parees'.

Through generous donations of pre-owned garments, Muskaan provides these women with an opportunity to earn a secondary source of income by selling these items in marginalized communities and public spaces. This not only benefits the women by offering them financial empowerment but also serves the customers by providing them with quality garments at nominal prices.

Moreover, any unsold garments are collected by Swachh as part of its V-Collect initiative for recycling, thus promoting sustainability. With a total value of ₹2,97,690/- generated from the sale of garments and benefiting 3,319 customers along with 15 Muskaan Parees, this initiative has proven to be impactful in fostering economic empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Entrepreneurship Development

For underprivileged individuals, the prospect of launching or expanding their own business often remains an elusive dream. Challenges such as limited entrepreneurial skills, lack of information, inadequate access to markets, and financial constraints hinder their progress.

Our Entrepreneurship Development initiative endeavours to transform these aspirations into tangible achievements. By enhancing their skills and providing them with essential tools and equipment, the programme empowers beneficiaries to become entrepreneurs and effectively manage their small businesses.
